An Average Student to an Entrepreneur
MCERC has been a great contributor to the development of my personality. The Conveyance from an Average student to an Entrepreneur was not so easy, but MCERC nourished me to attain the acceleration to reach the terminal destination. This college developed Leadership, Time Management, Self-Confidence and Team building skills me through organising numerous events during College fests and Cultural Events. It also taught me things far beyond bookish knowledge and helped me broaden my horizons which helps me today scaling and develop my business’s portfolio. Speaking about the faculty and members of the institution are very generous, kind and helpful. I wish the budding batches will creed the pinnacles of their success.
Completion of Doctorate in Computer Engineering
Hi, I am Abolee Patil .. the 2013 BE Computer and the 2015 ME Computer Engineering batch of Matoshri College. I am feeling so happy and proud to share that I have successfully completed by Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University on 2nd December 2021. I owe to be the youngest doctorate of University and the first doctorate among alumni of the Matoshri College of Engineering and Research Centre to my research guide Dr. Parikshit Mahlle, Principal sir Dr. Kharate and my mom Prof Varsha Patil. My graduation and post graduation at Matoshri College of Engineering has been a very interesting and great journey. Choosing MCOE was one of the best decisions. MCOE is a place of knowledge and bliss. It has provided me with a wonderful environment and opportunity to learn and grow myself in every field .In this academic journey I gained friendship and experiences which added a different perspective to my life. It feels great to be taught by experienced teachers who are the best. I am thankful to all the faculty members of the College for their continuous efforts and support. They always motivated and encouraged me to face the risks and learn new things. Apart from excellent academic experience, I also gained the benefits of being a part of the Cultural Student’ body. It would be difficult to sum up four years of MCOERC in just a few lines. When I look back 8-10 years ago it makes me feel Proud. Proud of everything which I am today. I am working in a reputed company,also performing well up to the standards of Industry and that’s all possible due to the holistic education system of my college. This college not only taught me to do well in academics but also to perform well under pressure and to work in a team which is the most important requirement of industry. Like many other students I used to complain about the college disciplined environment,schedules for projects and lectures but now I realize that it was for my benefit & it has turned me into a better professional to survive in today’s competitive environment. Today also whenever I find any difficulties/problems I just remember one sentence which our HOD (Varsha Patil Mam) always says - "Never stop learning, start again from beginning until you find the solution." The most important thing I learnt was that there is no shortcut to success. In conclusion,I would say truly pleased to be an MCOERC."

"I got an admission in Matoshri College by an accident as my desire was to have an admission in some other reputed institution of that period. But, when I got admission and on the first day I went for all the formalities, I get somewhat disappointed from the college due to lack in infrastructural facilities. But, my perception got changed when I meet with the experienced and hardworking staff in my institute. I heard one thing from everyone that without extra classes the engineering is incomplete. But, teaching from such enthusiastic teachers, I never felt to take the extra coaching. In first year of engineering, I came with 84 marks in MHCET, but due to support and great learning I scored 85% in FE. This was a huge score at that time. I specially thanks to all the staff members to enhance my knowledge and also for each and every help that I got from them. I mostly love the teaching by Prof. Naik Sir, Prof. Tambe Sir, Prof. Gadakari Mam, Prof. Tayde Mam, Prof. Katale Sir, Prof. Kshirsagar Mam and Prof. Waje Sir in my first year of engineering. They make the base strong and so the building of my career has started. Next as I grow up and in upcoming years the staff of Civil Engineering, helps me in all aspects. Not only academic but also the physical and cultural skills are taken care in our college. I was General Secretary in year 2016, and thus got an opportunity to work and handle the college technical and cultural events. Within these 4 years tenure, I personally get fulfilled with all skills to stand up in the society. It is not that our college staff is not in contact or helping after I leave the college. I am in contact with them all, and what I am now I think the most contributing people after my family is my college. I am pursuing PhD. now and this is only because of Dr. Navandar Sir, formerly staff in our institute. I also thanks to Dr. V. H. Patil mam and Dr. G. K. Kharate Sir for always supporting me in all good and bad conditions and motivating me to move forward."
