Welcome to Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2009-10 in eco-friendly atmosphere of Matoshri Aasarabai Polytechnic, Eklahare, Nashik, with intake of 60 students and today we have intake of 120 students per year. We are approved by AICTE and affiliated to MSBTE.

To support our vision and mission (listed below), we made remarkable investment in the infrastructure and facilities. We have well equipped laboratories and we strongly believe in developing Mechanical engineers who are technically skilled and ready to face challenges in manufacturing and processing industries. To ensure this we have workshop with well-equipped machineries. We have highly qualified and experienced teaching staff members with specialization in domains like Design engineering, Thermal, Heat Power, Production, Automobile, and CAD/CAM etc.

Apart from academics, Department has earned its name for arranging extracurricular activities include Annual Workshops, Seminars and Technical festival named as ‘MAPFEST’. All these efforts are also reflected by campus placement of students from core Mechanical companies like EATON Ltd Pune, BAJAJ Pvt Ltd Pune, Bosch Pvt Ltd, Mahindra and Mahindra Pvt Ltd.

We welcome in-person visitations to showcase the growing excitement we have for the department. While challenges abound, the future holds many exciting opportunities for students and faculty to work collectively for a better tomorrow..
